Lapse: A FW22 Editorial by Dan Regan
Shot amongst the suburban melange of Los Angeles by photographer Dan Regan, Carhartt WIP’s latest editorial spotlights the loose fits and robust compositions from FW22.
The items featured – the L/S Master Shirt and Pant – are Carhartt WIP signatures, constructed from midweight polycotton twill. Meanwhile, the inclusion of the Car-Lux Vest and Jacket, made of a spongy shell fabric reminiscent of traditional car upholstery, offers an automotive-inspired take on the collection. These are complemented by styles like the L/S Charter Shirt and L/S Vista T-Shirt, which have been garment-dyed for a washed out yet saturated appearance.
The Carhartt WIP FW22 collection is now available from Carhartt WIP stores, carhartt-wip.com, and select global retailers.

Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is a clothing brand that adapts and modifies the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections. Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the brand’s audience is as likely to associate its iconic yellow ‘C’ motif with late 90s hip hop videos or skate clips as they are with factories or manual labor. This distinction is key when defining Carhartt WIP.
Carhartt WIP engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world. The brand channels these influences, reflecting the culture that has formed around it. This can be seen and felt in its collections, imagery, and collaboration partners. Today, Carhartt WIP operates over 100 brick and mortar retail stores across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as working with select wholesale clients.
About Dan Regan
Photographer and visual artist Daniel Regan grew up with a neighborhood mentality. Venice, California contained everything he knew and cared about. The environment crafted his sincere and creative spirit but, at the same time, it limited his scope and held him back. In order to step ahead and beyond, he had to leave behind his comfort zone and everything he knew.
