Carhartt WIP Skate JAM Copenhagen 24-26.04
Carhartt WIP Skate JAM is a series of open skate sessions connecting the Carhartt WIP international skate team with local scenes around the world.
The second edition of the series is taking place between April 24th – 26th at Copenhagen Contemporary, featuring a skateable space with custom-built, mobile obstacles developed in collaboration with Nine Yards – a skate park design and construction platform based in the Netherlands.
The event is open to the public, inviting visitors to skate alongside members of the Carhartt WIP skate team across the weekend. DJ sets and live music will run throughout, including a live performance on April 24th by team rider Sondre Mortensen’s band, What the Tusan. An accompanying hooded sweatshirt and t-shirt, featuring a city-exclusive graphic, will be available over the weekend at Copenhagen Contemporary and Carhartt WIP Store Købmagergade.

Copenhagen Contemporary (CC) is Copenhagen’s international art center, showcasing installation art by both global stars of contemporary art and emerging talents. CC is housed in the magnificent former B&W welding hall, renovated by architect Dorte Mandrup. With a total of 7,000 m² of beautiful industrial exhibition space, it has the capacity to present the technically ambitious and large-scale formats that many contemporary artists work with: major immersive installations, performance art, and monumental video works.
