Spring/Summer 2023: Haven

Photographer Matt Price and videographer Trevor Dare Owens follow Carhartt WIP skate team riders through the sunlit suburbs of Los Angeles, each wearing core items from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

Featuring Josh Pall, Tanner Burzinski, and Jackie Michel, the editorial spotlights this season’s graphic t-shirts, as well as a series of lightweight, short-sleeve shirts such as the striped Reyes and embroidered Coba styles – both executed in lightweight poplin. The check-print Solander Shirt, meanwhile, offers a long-sleeve and loose-fitting option for S/S23.

Also included is the Manu Jacket, constructed from midweight nylon fabric for a more technical take on the brand’s classic Detroit Jacket. Relaxed-fit pants, like the Calder Pant and Women’s Cara Pant, round out the selection.

About Carhartt WIP

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt WIP (Work In Progress) develops its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes, while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced it. This, in turn, has seen Carhartt WIP place itself in a new context and bring forth its own classics.

Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 locations worldwide. It also has its own skate team and music department, while supporting a slew of artists and releasing various in-house publications.
