For Fall 2025, sacai and Carhartt WIP return for their third collaboration with a 19-piece capsule collection, launching on October 3. Reinterpreting Carhartt WIP’s iconic items with sacai’s distinctive design approach, the collection embodies the unique DNA of both brands.

The capsule features a hybrid of Carhartt WIP’s iconic Detroit Jacket and sacai’s puffer jacket, which features an insulating lining on the inside and classic down-stitching on the canvas shell. A leather jacket, meanwhile, appears in a cropped silhouette with an asymmetric front opening, incorporating elements of a classic biker jacket.

Collection highlights also include a women’s skirt, which combines Carhartt WIP’s Arctic Jacket and Double-Knee Pant with sacai’s signature oversized pocket details; and a unisex jacket that vertically reconstructs a Detroit Jacket and Arctic Jacket, to create a new, unique silhouette. Additionally, cotton canvas pieces in the men’s and unisex lines feature a garment-washed finish for a soft, lived-in patina. Each item is marked with a distinctive, co-branded woven Square Label.

On October 2, Landmark in Hong Kong will host a pop-up showcasing the collection, with exclusive pre-launches the same day at SKP-S in Beijing and Qiantan Taikooli in Shanghai, as well as at Cheongdam and Galleria Department (Men’s store) Store in Korea.

sacai x Carhartt WIP will officially launch on October 3 at select global retailers and sacai stores, as well as at sacai and Carhartt WIP’s online shops.

About Carhartt Work In Progress

Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is a clothing brand that adapts and modifies the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections. Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the brand’s audience is just as likely to associate its iconic yellow C motif with late 90s hip hop videos or skate clips, as they are with factories or manual labor. This distinction is key in defining what Carhartt WIP does. Carhartt WIP engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world. The brand channels these influences, representing the culture which has formed around it. This can be seen and felt in its collections, its imagery, and its choice of partners and collaborators. Today, Carhartt WIP operates over 100 brick and mortar retail stores across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as working with select wholesale clients.
