Louther x Carhartt WIP
For Fall/Winter 2025, London-based fashion brand Louther has collaborated with Carhartt WIP on an exclusive, six-piece capsule collection.
For the collection, Louther founder and designer Pia Schiele reworked archetypal Carhartt WIP garments
into new styles, taking apart and reassembling each item by hand in London. Schiele’s process imparts new meaning onto the familiar, combining a meticulous approach to tailoring with raw, dynamic textures, rooted in a convergence of memory and the material. “The collaboration felt organic,” she says. Carhartt WIP items were “always around the home, being worn, mended, and repurposed.”
Included is a denim pant with split-knee paneling and triple-stitch details; polycotton chinos with reworked leg panels and visible graft seams; and a split denim chore coat, featuring triple-stitched, spliced panels and a double collar. Schiele has also reimagined a classic crewneck sweatshirt with a three-quarter, zipped collar insert, while a cotton t-shirt, featuring a reverse logo print on the front, creates a subtle trompe l'œil effect. Rounding out the collection is a heavyweight, knitted cardigan with extended front panels and a high layered collar.
The collaboration will debut during London Fashion Week between September 18th-21st, as part of Louther’s S/S26 runway presentation. The show will also feature a selection of sculptural one-off creations composed from repurposed Carhartt WIP stock – including a dress made entirely from knotted t-shirts, as well as reworked shirting and shorts. These pieces will not be available for sale.
On October 1st, Louther x Carhartt WIP will be available globally at Dover Street Market locations and online.

fdecarlo@carhartt-wip.comAbout Carhartt Work In Progress
Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is a clothing brand that adapts and modifies the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections. Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the brand’s audience is just as likely to associate its iconic yellow C motif with late 90s hip hop videos or skate clips, as they are with factories or manual labor. This distinction is key in defining what Carhartt WIP does. Carhartt WIP engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world. The brand channels these influences, representing the culture which has formed around it. This can be seen and felt in its collections, its imagery, and its choice of partners and collaborators. Today, Carhartt WIP operates over 100 brick and mortar retail stores across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as working with select wholesale clients.
About Louther
Louther is a London-based fashion brand by designer Pia Schiele. Blending deconstructionist design with visual storytelling, the brand draws from Pia’s upbringing and her background in photography. Louther’s collections explore the space between construction and reconstruction — often balancing opposites: raw and refined, structured and fluid. Known for its sculptural silhouettes and unconventional textures, Louther creates pieces that feel both personal and sculptural, designed with memory and material in mind.
