Grog for Carhartt WIP

For Fall/Winter 2023, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with Grog on a set of four refillable mini squeezer markers.

Offered in four signature Carhartt WIP colors – black, Carhartt orange, Hamilton brown, and white – the markers have a soft squeeze body and an exchangeable Flowtex tip. Each one offers high ink flow and dries fast on all surfaces.

Founded in 2005, Grog is an Italian brand that has garnered a reputation for its high-quality handmade markers and paints in an array of finishes.

Photographer Alessandro Simonetti joined Leoll and Chob one night in Milan, in a series of images that brings together two generations of writers from the city.

Chob, an icon of the Milanese graffiti scene, has been active throughout Italy since the early 90s, while Leoll represents a new generation, and is known for his unique style of backwards tags.

About Carhartt WIP

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt WIP (Work In Progress) develops its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes, while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced it. This, in turn, has seen Carhartt WIP place itself in a new context and bring forth its own classics.

Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 locations worldwide. It also has its own skate team and music department, while supporting a slew of artists and releasing various in-house publications.

About Grog

Since its birth in 2005, Grog has been the undisputed star of all streets worldwide.100% Made in Italy, it was born from the experience and passion of Alessandro, Federico, Luca and Stefano, the Pluss SRL founders. Thanks to the quality of its products, Grog has established itself in a few years, becoming a real icon also due to the immediately recognizable form of its products.

From day one, the founders pursued the idea of creating products for writers who, until then, had been used to stealing Uni Posca or Pilot from the stationery store, emptying them and refilling them with Nero d’Inferno, in order to tag around. If Montana Colors had been around since 1994 for sprays, there was no alternative for tools such as markers and inks. The brand was born a bit by chance and a bit for fun, just like that.We bought dyes from various manufacturers, mixed them and bottled them in Alessandro’s backyard, one by one, by hand
