Carhartt WIP Stores Paris St-Honoré - EN

CARHARTTWIP_ST_HO_1

Twenty years ago, Carhartt WIP opened its first French location on the east side of rue Saint-Honoré, adding to the district’s already vibrant energy. Today, the brand reinforces its historic link to the neighborhood by launching a second adjacent location.

Designed by Salomee Faeh and the studio of Milanese architect Andrea Caputo, the new store is situated on 72 rue Saint-Honoré and currently houses the men’s collection. The space pays homage to the city’s rich architectural heritage, where natural wood furnishings are offset with industrial details, such as concrete surfaces and galvanized steel rails. The original location at 66 rue Saint-Honoré now exclusively holds the women's collection, marking Carhartt WIP’s first dedicated women’s store in France.

To celebrate the store’s opening, we have collaborated with Parisian brand Personalities to create a series of t-shirts for men and women. The capsule will be available exclusively at the two Carhartt WIP stores on rue Saint-Honoré from Thursday September 26. The launch event, curated by Personalities, will take place from 6–10pm.

About Carhartt Work In Progress

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes, while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced it. This, in turn, has seen Carhartt WIP place itself in a new context and bring forth its own classics.

Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 brick and mortar locations worldwide. It also has its own skate team and music department, while supporting an array of artists and releasing various in-house publications. Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has worked with a number of like-minded collaborators, including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike, Underground Resistance, and Motown.
