Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2026: Delivery Two
With the new season underway, Eduardo Gonçalves documents the second delivery of Carhartt WIP’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection across Lisbon, as a balmy afternoon drifts into a restless night.
The collection incorporates adaptable layers in contrasting colors and textures, balancing heavyweight, raw denim pieces and hickory-striped outerwear with soft, overdyed jersey in shades of ‘gentle’ purple, blue, and green.
Denim takes on a mid-century character with the Belmar Jacket – featuring a back buckle, stitched pleats and donut shank buttons – and Belmont Pant, which combines signature work pant details – such as tool pockets and a hammer loop – with a 50s-inspired back cinch adjuster. Boxy collared shirts, such as the S/S Craft Shirt and Women’s S/S Lovilia Shirt, build on this theme, rendered in both denim and polycotton poplin.
Lending the collection a dynamic, nature-inspired edge, a new laser-printed ‘camo snake’ motif appears across shirts, accessories and gadgets, in striking black-and-white, green, and blue colorways. This print also appears in a tonal, pared-back version on black denim jackets, jeans and shorts.
Eduardo Gonçalves is a Lisbon-based Portuguese filmmaker and photographer, whose work brings an immersive, kinetic energy to fashion campaigns, editorials, and short films, shaped by his roots in skateboarding.
The Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2026 collection is available now at select global retailers and Carhartt WIP stores, as well as at carhartt-wip.com and on the Carhartt WIP App.

fdecarlo@carhartt-wip.comAbout Carhartt Work In Progress
Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is a clothing brand that adapts and modifies the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections. Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the brand’s audience is as likely to associate its iconic yellow ‘C’ motif with late 90s hip hop videos or skate clips as they are with factories or manual labor. This distinction is key when defining Carhartt WIP.
Carhartt WIP engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world. The brand channels these influences, reflecting the culture that has formed around it. This can be seen and felt in its collections, imagery, and collaboration partners. Today, Carhartt WIP operates over 100 brick and mortar retail stores across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as working with select wholesale clients.
