Carhartt WIP’s Spring/Summer 2025 preview collection merges elements of late winter with early spring, presenting a modern twist on archetypal styles, updating them with new fabrics, details and washes.

Icons such as the Detroit Jacket, Single Knee Pant, and W’ Michigan Jacket, are constructed from a new artificial leather material in a sleek, all-black colorway, lending a contemporary edge to the enduring silhouettes. A tonal faux-leather Square Label offers a subtle, refined accent. These are complemented by jackets, sweatshirts and accessories, detailed with metal hardware and silver-tone trims, such as the denim OG Active Rivet Jacket, W’ Eldon Sweatshirt, and Norwich Bag.

The OG Detroit Jacket, meanwhile, is executed in denim with a unique, aged finish which nods to classic Americana. This wash also appears across denim styles like the Landon Pant and W’ Brandon Pant.

Expanding on the heritage theme are the Dayton Trucker Jacket and OG Santa Fe Coat, which are inspired by 80s Western jackets. While the former offers a more traditional take on the silhouette, the latter reworks the shape into a longer, more loose-fitting one. Additionally, an evolution of the traditional Hickory stripe is on the Seaton Blazer and OG Single Knee Pant, as well as the W’ Seaton Jacket and Pant.

The color palette combines earth tones such as Hamilton Brown and beige with classic black, grey, and indigo, punctuated by deep green and vermillion. Flashes of ‘lumo’ orange, green, and yellow appear across jersey styles, drawing from high-visibility outerwear.

The S/S25 preview collection will be available at Carhartt WIP stores and selected retailers, as well as carhartt-wip.com and the Carhartt WIP App at the end of November.

About Carhartt Work In Progress

Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is a clothing brand that adapts and modifies the core products of the pioneering American workwear brand Carhartt to create its own collections. Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, the brand’s audience is just as likely to associate its iconic yellow C motif with late 90s hip hop videos or skate clips, as they are with factories or manual labor. This distinction is key in defining what Carhartt WIP does. Carhartt WIP engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world. The brand channels these influences, representing the culture which has formed around it. This can be seen and felt in its collections, its imagery, and its choice of partners and collaborators. Today, Carhartt WIP operates over 100 brick and mortar retail stores across Europe, Asia, and the US, as well as working with select wholesale clients.
