Carhartt WIP is pleased to announce the opening of its second store in Madrid, Spain, located within the Tribunal area.
Located on the number 90 of Fuencarral street, Tribunal is an eclectic area where the dynamic energy of the neighboring Malasaña, the old-world charm of Chamberí, and the contemporary appeal of Salesas all converge.
Designed by Salomée Faeh and the Milan-based architecture studio of Andrea Caputo, the store combines industrial design details with organic elements, to create a space that feels both balanced and contemporary. The natural grain of wooden display tables complements concrete finishes on the walls and ceiling, adding a sense of warmth and texture, while reinforcing Carhartt WIP’s functional roots. Concrete tiles also feature prominently around the till area, reflecting the brand’s unique DNA.
Overall, the store is defined by clean lines and a neutral color palette that highlights the brand’s seasonal collections.
Carhartt WIP Store Madrid Tribunal opened its doors on Thursday 19 December. A dedicated launch event is scheduled for February to mark the occasion.

fdecarlo@carhartt-wip.comAbout Carhartt Work In Progress
Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) develops its own collections based on original Carhartt workwear. The brand combines authentic adaptations of these robust American archetypes, while engaging with the subcultures that have embraced it. This, in turn, has seen Carhartt WIP place itself in a new context and bring forth its own classics.
Carhartt WIP opened its first store in London in 1997 and today operates over 80 brick and mortar locations worldwide. It also has its own skate team and music department, while supporting an array of artists and releasing various in-house publications. Since 2010, Carhartt WIP has worked with a number of like-minded collaborators, including A.P.C., Converse, Fragment Design, Junya Watanabe, Nike, Underground Resistance, and Motown.
